This award sign started out as a sandblasted sign. But I could not help using a dremel to add more depth. it is composed of (3) nice pieces of rough sawn cedar glued together, belt sanded then precision cut out with a band saw. Many hours were spent blasting away the background to reveal the raised logo. The logo was then hand painted with sign lettering enamel. The bottom line "JUST TIM'S" was done with imitation gold leaf for a more classy look. The back of the sign and the outside edges were lightly stained. When this was all done the entire piece was covered in two layers of poly acrylic to preserve the wood and give it a nice finished feel.
